Riding Lessons at Flat Rock Farm

At Flat Rock Farm, our goal is to provide a fun, supportive, and confidence-building environment for riders of all ages and experience levels. Whether you’re just starting your riding journey or working toward advancing your skills in the hunter/jumper ring, our experienced coaches are here to help you grow. Each lesson focuses on developing strong fundamentals, good horsemanship, and a positive connection between horse and rider.

Lesson Schedule

We offer lessons Monday through Thursday evenings during the school year. In the summer months, our schedule expands, and we’re available for lessons all day Monday through Thursday.

We offer lessons to those ages 5+ with any range of experience.

Lesson Options

Private Lessons
Private lessons are 30-minute sessions that provide personalized, one-on-one instruction. These lessons are ideal for beginner riders who are learning the basics and building confidence before joining a group setting.
Group Lessons
Group lessons are one hour in length and include up to four riders per group. Riders are grouped based on their skill level and experience, ensuring everyone progresses together in a safe, encouraging, and motivating environment.

Pricing

All lessons — private or group — are $50 per session.

Payment can be made per lesson via cash or e-transfer.

All riders must sign a liability form prior to their first lesson with us.

Showing Opportunities

All of our riders have the opportunity to show at our show series that we host.

Those who lease or own a horse have the opportunity to attend silver rated shows that we attend throughout the year.
